Plymouth Community Arts Council
PCAC's mission is to develop and to promote the appreciation and accessibility of the Arts for everyone in the greater community an in doing so, encourage and foster artistic excellence. Every year the council provides several arts exploration opportunities to the community.
Founded in 1969, the Plymouth Community Arts Council has consistently provided arts programs to its primary service area, a community of 120,000 that includes students of Plymouth-Canton Community Schools, the fourth largest school district in Michigan.
Every year, more than 300 parents serve over 17,000 students through the Council's Arts Volunteer Program.
PCAC gives local artist a venue for developing and displaying their work.
For the last 23 years, the Council's Music in the Park series has served more than 15,000 people every year with its summer concerts in Plymouth's Kellogg Park.
PCAC houses a unique combination of arts resources from crafts to fine arts in its gift shop.
